In the much-anticipated cinematic return of the beloved series, Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, we are once again invited into the opulent world of the Crawley family and their dedicated staff… as long as we stand at the back, don’t try to get off with any of their notoriously gay footmen and don’t make any trouble. Set in the transformative decade of the 1930s – even though they all look the same age as they did half a century ago – this latest chapter examines the complexities of navigating change while embracing both tradition and progress.
