Stars come out against Trump’s new homophobia at Grammys

Alicia Keys made a powerful statement while accepting the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award at the 67th Grammy Awards held yesterday, highlighting the essential role of diversity in the music industry and beyond. Chappell Roan, the Grammy winner for Best New Artist, further contributed to the dialogue by referencing his experiences growing up queer in the Midwest and urged record labels to ensure their artists receive fair wages, health insurance, and adequate protection in their careers.
