Lea DeLaria, famous for her role in ‘Orange Is the New Black,’ caused a stir with a profanity-laden video on social media criticising former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party. Her call for action against Trump and scathing remarks on the Supreme Court’s ruling led to attacks.

Lea DeLaria, known for her role as Carrie ‘Big Boo’ Black on “Orange Is the New Black,” posted a profanity-laden video on social media on Monday targeting former President Donald Trump and the GOP. In the clip, DeLaria expressed her frustration with a recent Supreme Court ruling that grants presidential immunity from prosecution for official acts, which she believes benefits Trump’s reelection efforts.

Addressing her followers, DeLaria appeared to call on President Joe Biden to “take out” Trump, using violent language that led to accusations of domestic terrorism from commenters. She directed her ire at conservative Associate Justice Clarence Thomas, referring to him derogatorily as an “Uncle Tom.”

The post, which featured DeLaria wearing sunglasses and a Yankees cap, quickly sparked backlash, with some suggesting it should be flagged for inciting violence. The video followed a year after DeLaria revealed her secret marriage to longtime girlfriend Dalia Gladstone.

Despite the controversial nature of her statements, DeLaria did not respond to the critical comments or accusations of promoting violence against a former president.
