JAKE celebrates its first Singles Mingle of the year at the newly opened Muse, offering an exciting evening of socialising and potential romance.

Fancy getting a boyfriend for 2025? Or just have fun trying?

It’s gay social group JAKE’s first Singles Mingle of the year, and they’re taking you somewhere very special… the brand-new Muse at the iconic Royal Society for Arts, just off the Strand in the West End.

There are expected to be over 100 guys, who you will be able to meet either in a regular way or in the relaxed, no-pressure ‘speed dating’ room, where you get to speak to at least 12 new single gay men to see if the spark is there. There’s a free drink on arrival for Dutch courage (other courages are available) and you’re invited to make friends, find lovers, nab a husband… it’s entirely up to you.

The venue, Muse, is the new cocktail bar from Marcis Dzelzainis (Quo Vadis, Zetter Townhouse, Satan’s Whiskers, Lyaness) inside the RSA’s 250-year-old Georgian Townhouse and celebrates British ingredients, local provenance, sustainable agriculture and rewilding projects with a collection of wild distillates.

The Royal Society for Arts itself has an impressive history with characters such as Charles Dickens, Benjamin Franklin, Karl Marx, Marie Curie and William Hogarth having hob-nobbed here.
